The Benelli TRK 902 Xplorer is more than just a new model — it’s a statement of intent from a brand that’s been steadily climbing the adventure‑bike ranks. With Italian design flair, serious off‑road hardware, and long‑haul touring comfort, it’s built for riders who want one machine to conquer every road, trail, and horizon.
Design and Features
The TRK 902 Xplorer blends rugged adventure‑bike presence with contemporary Italian styling. Its redesigned front end is more compact, giving the machine a sharper, more athletic silhouette. Signature LED headlights — the defining face of the TRK family — now feature a striking daytime running light (DRL) for enhanced visibility and style.
One of its most distinctive visual touches is the “Jungle Fog” finish, a matte green tone developed in collaboration with the Benelli Style Center in Pesaro, evoking the spirit of untamed landscapes. Comfort and practicality are equally prioritized: an electronically adjustable windscreen adapts to changing conditions, while dual integrated fog lights cut through poor visibility. In true expedition fashion, the pillion seat is replaced with a lockable toolbox, keeping essential gear secure and within reach.
Performance and Capability
At its heart is a new 904cc parallel‑twin engine producing around 99 horsepower and 66 lb‑ft of torque. Power delivery is tuned for both highway cruising and off‑road grunt, giving riders confidence in any environment.
The chassis is purpose‑built for adventure, with 200mm of suspension travel front and rear to absorb rough trails and rocky paths. Pirelli Scorpion Rally tires — sized 110/80‑19 at the front and 150/70‑17 at the rear — are mounted on tubeless spoked wheels for strength and flexibility, ensuring grip and control even on unpredictable surfaces. A 5.8‑gallon fuel tank extends range between stops, making it ideal for long‑distance expeditions.
